The 5.5 HP motor drives the 24-inch impeller to its highest efficient operating point to achieve this output.

At 14,000 CFM and 5.5 HP, the RCU24 5.5HP is suited for rooftop exhaust applications where the load cannot be met by a single 2HP or 3HP unit without parallel installation. A single RCU24 5.5HP replaces two RCU16 units (2 × 5,800 CFM = 11,600 CFM) on a shared riser, simplifying the rooftop equipment layout and reducing the number of roof penetrations required.
