The CBA24 is the largest centrifugal utility fan in the CBA range, delivering 12,000 CFM at 5.5 HP through a 24-inch blower body with the same full-welded powder-coated construction and high-life bearing assembly as the rest of the series. It addresses the highest exhaust volume requirements in the centrifugal range — large industrial facilities, centralised exhaust for multi-floor commercial towers, and major food service operations where no smaller single centrifugal unit can meet the combined CFM and static pressure requirements.

At 12,000 CFM, the CBA24 is the specification for centralised building exhaust systems that consolidate multiple exhaust points into a single high-capacity mechanical unit: multi-tenant commercial kitchens on different floors sharing one main riser, large hospital central kitchens with multiple cooking lines and full ecology filtration, industrial food processing facilities with continuous high-load exhaust demands, and large enclosed parking structures where regulatory CO dilution requirements translate to sustained extract volumes above 10,000 CFM.

The 5.5 HP motor on the CBA24 provides the static pressure performance to maintain 12,000 CFM against the resistance generated by long 24-inch duct runs, multiple transition fittings, and in-duct filtration stages that are typical of centralised commercial exhaust systems. A single CBA24 replacing two CBA16 units (2 × 6,000 CFM) on a shared riser reduces the mechanical room footprint, simplifies the electrical panel layout, and eliminates the synchronisation and balancing requirements that arise when two fans share a common duct.

For applications in the 9,000–11,000 CFM range, the CBA20 4HP (10,000 CFM) handles the load with a smaller motor and lower capital cost. The CBA24 is the final step in the CBA centrifugal range; applications requiring more than 12,000 CFM from a single centrifugal unit would require a custom or industrial-grade specification outside the standard CBA product family.
