The defining application for the CHA18 is kitchen exhaust where high grease content in the airstream is a regular operating condition. At 6,000 CFM, this unit sustains the recommended 15 air changes per hour for commercial kitchen spaces up to 65 m², providing a measurable buffer against heat and smoke buildup during peak service hours.

The fully welded galvanized steel housing resists the corrosive effect of grease-saturated air over long operating periods, and the stainless steel housing option is available for environments with high moisture exposure or where hygiene standards require non-porous surfaces.
