The CHA10 provides 3,600 CFM of continuous ventilation through a 10-inch inline body powered by a 1.5 HP motor. It is specifically sized for applications where reliable air movement is needed in moderately sized enclosed spaces — including office building toilet extraction risers, small commercial kitchen pantries, server rooms, storage areas with chemical or dust exposure, and retail spaces requiring code-compliant mechanical ventilation.

- HP = 1.5
With 3,600 CFM and a 1.5 HP motor, the CHA10 is the first unit in the CHA range that balances airflow performance with suitability for noise-sensitive environments. The 1.5 HP motor at this duct size produces a lower acoustic signature than the 2 HP and above models, making it appropriate for office buildings, clinics, and educational facilities where the mechanical system runs during occupied hours and sound transmission through ceiling voids is a practical concern.
The 10-inch duct connection is a standard size in commercial HVAC systems, meaning the CHA10 integrates directly into existing ductwork layouts without custom transitions. This makes it a frequent choice for retrofit ventilation upgrades where the existing duct infrastructure is already sized for 10-inch connections and adding a larger unit would require duct modifications.
At 3,600 CFM, the CHA10 ventilates enclosed spaces up to approximately 40 m² at 15 air changes per hour covering toilet extract risers serving 3 to 5 fixtures, small commercial kitchen prep areas, and enclosed parking ventilation zones on lower levels. For applications where airflow needs drop below 3,000 CFM or space constraints require a smaller duct, the CHA08 (2,270 CFM, 0.75 HP) is the appropriate smaller alternative. For medium commercial kitchens requiring 5,000 CFM or more, step up to the CHA16.
