The Ansul 415192 Orange Nozzle Blow Off Cap is a component used in Ansul fire suppression systems, particularly for vehicle and restaurant fire suppression systems (like the A-101 and R-102 systems).
Its primary function is to protect the fire suppression system nozzles from becoming clogged with grease, dirt, or other debris. These caps are flexible and made of rubber. When the fire suppression system is activated, the pressure of the extinguishing agent causes the caps to “blow off” the nozzles, allowing the agent to be discharged.
